Just Chillin 002

I often walk the Airpark Walkway and estuary in Courtenay, BC. The day I took this photo, there were 15-20 Great Blue Herons in the estuary. Young herons leave their nest in middle to late summer, and the adults were teaching them how to hunt and fish. This is one of the adults.
